GINSU CHIKARA CHOSEN AS FINALIST IN HOUSEWARES DESIGN AWARDSWalnut Ridge, AR (December, 2007) – The 65 finalists for the 2008 Housewares Design Awards have been announced. Ginsu is honored to have not one but TWO products chosen in the cutlery category as finalist. The Ginsu Chikara 12pc Bamboo Block Set and the Chikara Santoku Knife with Bamboo Cutting Board.
The finalists were chosen based on design believed to differentiate a product with unique appearance and/or function. The panel of judges consisted of design and merchandising experts assembled by the International Housewares Association. The judges agreed that the aesthetics, innovative materials and technology, user benefits and market response were qualities that were met in the Ginsu Chikara series.

The finalists are selected from a field of more than 300 products representing 13 awards categories. Five finalists are named in each of the thirteen product categories. The “Best in Category” winners will be announced during a special Housewares Design Awards ceremony in New York on February 6, 2008. 
Each piece in this cutlery collection is specifically tailored to complete all necessary cutting jobs with ease and precision.
